Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. This role will require you to oversee all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to implementation. You will coordinate with various team members and external stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our high-quality standards. You must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results.

Responsibilities

1. Plan, implement, and oversee all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and necessary resources.
3. Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.
4. Handle change orders, submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, permitting, and permits.
5. Monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
6. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
7. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists.
8. Resolve any problems that may arise and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
9. Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards.
10. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience as a Project Manager in the Heavy Civil Construction industry, with a minimum of 2+ years of experience.
2. In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
3. Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
4. Proficient in handling change orders, submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, permitting, and permits.
5. Excellent knowledge of construction project management software.
6. Strong leadership and human resources management skills.
7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
8. Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
9. A team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
10. A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is preferred.
