A design build company fully integrated as one enterprise. We use the Design Manufacture Construction (DMC) system. DMC replaces the century-old, siloed approach of the Architecture Engineering and Construction Industry. DMC uses design to leverage manufacturing productivity so that construction is simple. Its goal is to make buildings twice as good, twice as fast and with twice the value of those made by anyone, anywhere – 2x2x2.

We currently have integrated Architecture, Construction, Mechanical, Plumbing and Fabrication into our solution. We are not a General Contractor, we are a large multi-disciplined specialty subcontractor to ourselves. We deliver buildings and stitch modular parts for Healthcare Companies and Multifamily Developers throughout the Southeastern US.

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead and manage construction projects across Birmingham. This individual needs to work with a high-level of ownership, be a sharp communicator and problem-solver, and lead projects with excellence from start to finish. You will take ownership and manage multiple projects alongside our Superintendents, therefore strong vision and leadership is a non-negotiable. This person will be responsible and accountable for delivering a quality product on schedule and within budget for each project.

Key Responsibilities

Daily communication with Architects, Superintendents, and key stakeholders across each project in Birmingham
Manage multiple projects at a time
Coordinate work through regular meetings and team huddles
Plan project schedules alongside superintendents from start to completion of each project
Lead key relationships with project owners, superintendents, skilled labor, and any subcontractors
Lead in estimating projects and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
Manage expectations with clients to ensure timeliness and accuracy within projects


Qualifications

Background in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field is highly preferred
10+ years of proven and relevant experience
