Project Manager

We specialize in HOA/ COA painting and restoration projects all around San Diego County and are looking for a Project Manager with estimating experience to join our team.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our vibrant team in the construction industry. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific construction projects from beginning to end. This includes coordinating with a team of professionals to achieve project objectives within the set budget and timeline.

Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, you will be expected to:

1. Develop detailed project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with the executive team.
2. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals, and identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
3. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools, and track project milestones and deliverables.
4. Develop and manage project budgets while forecasting and tracking project costs.
5. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members, and effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
6. Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts within the project team, and proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
7. Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
8. Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management, and strive to standardize and introduce economies of repetition in the execution of projects.
9. Ensure all project legal documents are completed and signed, and ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is a plus
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the painting industry, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
3. Strong knowledge and experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control.
4. Proficiency in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
5. Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and team management skills.
6. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
