Project Manager

Are you passionate about leading construction projects to success, from conception to completion? We are seeking an experienced Permanent Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment. With a primary focus on managing construction projects, the successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the project including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. The Project Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle including initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure to ensure the project is on time, on budget, and to the quality required.
• Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, and ensure project cost control at all stages of the project.
• Implement quality control procedures and risk management plans to minimize project risks.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documents to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Lead project meetings and set expectations for project team.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure all parties are aligned.
• Solve complex problems that may arise during the project and make effective decisions to keep the project on track.
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
• Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to by all workers and subcontractors.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a high-performance project team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in construction management, budgeting, cost control, scheduling, quality control, and risk management.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and technical drawings.
• Solid understanding of contract management principles.
• Proven experience in safety management and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in project management software tools.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
