Job Details:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in project management, construction management, and electrical project management. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional who is not only an adept electrician but also a proficient commercial electrician. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to implementation, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee construction projects from conception to completion while monitoring compliance with safety and building regulations.
• Coordinate subcontractors and the construction team to meet contractual conditions of performance.
• Prepare external and internal reports relating to job status, daily progress, estimates, and deliverables.
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
• Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Manage the budgeting and estimation process for projects, including conducting cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project, and negotiating costs with various parties.
• Develop and manage project schedules while ensuring deadlines are met.
• Oversee the acquisition of resources and materials as needed.
• Coordinate with other professionals such as contractors, architects, engineers, and planners.
• Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
• Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven working experience of 3+ years in project management in the construction sector.
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Electrician certification or relevant field experience is highly desirable.
