Project Manager

Our Client is a full service specialty contractor, primarily with structural steel and miscellaneous metals. We design, fabricate, and erect structures in the Northeast and in other parts of the country. They have multiple fabrication facilities, erection operations facilities, and office locations that provide engineering and management of projects. They are a 100% employee owned company (ESOP) with a desire for growth. We service the private commercial, public, institutional, and industrial markets.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of structural and miscellaneous construction projects. This position requires a strong understanding of the construction industry, with an emphasis on project management, strategic planning, and effective communication. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction projects, specifically with miscellaneous metals and/or structural steel. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project objectives, strategies, and performance metrics.
• Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from conception to completion, ensuring that all project goals are met within the established timelines and budget constraints.
• Serve as the primary liaison with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Conduct regular project reviews and updates to keep all stakeholders informed about the project status, potential issues, and proposed solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Identify and manage potential risks and devise contingency plans.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with miscellaneous metals and/or structural steel.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, processes, and principles.
• Excellent strategic planning, project management, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Proficient in using project management software and other relevant computer applications.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
