We are on the hunt for a dynamic and proactive Permanent Electrical Project Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage electrical construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, project management, and construction management, with a proven ability to negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and mitigate risks. Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee all aspects of electrical construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Review and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure project accuracy and completeness.
3. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within cost parameters.
4. Negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers, ensuring that all agreements are in line with project requirements and company objectives.
5. Implement effective risk management strategies to identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential project risks.
6. Ensure all projects adhere to necessary building codes and electrical safety regulations.
7. Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring that all project objectives are clearly understood and met.
8. Conduct regular project reviews and updates to keep all stakeholders informed of project progress and any changes in plans or schedules.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and budgets.
10. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration across all project teams.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, specifically managing electrical projects.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, building codes, and electrical safety regulations.
4. Proven experience in contract negotiation and budget management.
5. Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project objectives.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify and mitigate potential project risks.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
8. High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
10. Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification would be an advantage.
