Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a solid background in the construction industry who is passionate about delivering high-quality custom homes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires a strong understanding of construction management, budgeting, quality control, and project management.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
2. Develop and manage comprehensive project plans and timelines, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
3. Coordinate and manage all project resources including subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
4. Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to all relevant safety standards and building codes.
5. Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress, ensuring that work is proceeding on schedule and to specification.
6. Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and forecasting costs.
7. Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery.
8. Resolve any issues or delays that may impact project timelines or budgets.
9. Implement and manage quality control processes, ensuring that all work meets or exceeds standards.
10. Prepare and present regular project reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
3. Demonstrable experience in managing the construction of high-end custom homes.
4. Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
5. Expertise in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
6. Excellent ability to plan and coordinate projects, with a keen eye for detail.
7. Strong financial and budgeting skills.
8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
9. Proven ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think strategically and innovatively.
10. A strong commitment to safety and quality control.
11. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
