Job Details:

Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. This position offers the opportunity to manage a variety of construction projects, including commercial, residential, remodel, and tenant improvements (TI). As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. This role requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, execute, and oversee the completion of construction projects in a timely manner while ensuring quality and value.
2. Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
3. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
4. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
5. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
6. Report and escalate to management as needed.
7. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
8. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
9. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
10. Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3+ years of relevant project management experience in the construction industry.
2. Proven working experience in project management in the construction sector, including all aspects of process development and execution.
3. Strong familiarity with construction management software packages.
4. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
5. Understanding of building codes, safety guidelines and regulations addressing construction projects.
6. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
9. Strong working knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
10. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
11. Knowledge of project management software (Procore, MS Project etc.) is a plus.
12. PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
