Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team in the construction industry. This is a permanent position for a professional who is well-versed in managing construction projects from conception to completion and can accurately estimate costs. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. They will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of a project to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget.
• Prepare and present detailed cost estimates including labor, material, equipment, and time requirements.
• Review project plans and specifications and coordinate with the team to confirm complete understanding of the project.
• Conduct site visits and prepare reports to keep the team informed about project progress and adjustments.
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress and use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
• Report and escalate to management as needed and manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Review the work progress on a daily basis and coordinate efforts across the entire team to keep the project aligned with the client's goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field or minimum of 5 years equivalent experience as a Commercial Project Manager with a successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience with estimating projects is a plus.
• Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g. ProCore Technology).
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction principles, practices, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
