Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality. This role requires a deep understanding of construction processes, excellent leadership abilities, and a strong background in Procore, earth retention, piling systems, tunneling, and mining.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects from initial planning to completion, ensuring that projects are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

2. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.

3. Review and understand all contract documents, including plans, specifications, and addenda.

4. Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and forecasts.

5. Coordinate and oversee contractors, subcontractors, and other construction personnel to ensure smooth operations.

6. Manage the project using Procore or similar project management software.

7. Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with safety and quality standards.

8. Apply expert knowledge of earth retention, piling systems, tunneling, and mining to ensure project success.

9. Handle any environmental or local community issues that may come up during a project.

10. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in project management roles within the construction industry.

3. Proficiency in Procore or similar construction management software.

4. Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles.

5. Proven experience with earth retention, piling systems, tunneling, and mining.

6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with complex transactions with little oversight.

7. Advanced knowledge of construction contracts and contract law.

8. Strong leadership and management skills.

9. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

10. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

11. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity.
