Our team is seeking a Permanent Project Manager with a strong background in the construction industry, specifically with experience in retail, commercial, and big box projects.

Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of our construction projects, leading from the front and ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management, from initial conception and planning through design, construction, and project completion.
2. Coordinating and collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
3. Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
4. Developing detailed project plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets for projects.
5. Managing and mitigating project risks and issues, and initiating corrective actions as necessary.
6. Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
7. Regularly reporting on project status to stakeholders and senior management.
8. Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and building codes, regulations, and laws.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a specific set of skills and experience. These include:

1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on retail, commercial, and big box projects.
2. Proven experience in managing all phases of the construction project life cycle.
3. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
4. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in project management software tools.
8. A proven track record of managing budgets and controlling project costs.
9. A deep understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
10. PMP or equivalent certification is considered an asset.
