Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, growing company where your expertise in construction, engineering, land development, and surveying will be highly valued. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
2. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring that they have all the necessary resources and information to perform their tasks effectively.
3. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
4. Oversee all onsite and offsite construction activities to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
5. Meet contractual conditions of performance and ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
6. Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks, ensuring that all potential issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
7. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status, presenting them to stakeholders as needed.
8. Review and understand all contract documents, including plans, specifications, and addenda.
9. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists, providing them with the necessary support and guidance.
10. Ensure that all projects are completed in accordance with the established plans, specifications, and regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction management or a related field.
3. Proven experience in project management and/or supervisory roles.
4. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
5. Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD.
6. Advanced understanding of construction law and building codes.
7. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a team effectively.
9. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
10. Proficiency in MS Project, MS Word, and Excel.
11. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
