Based in the Lake Charles area, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a dynamic team in the Energy industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects within the petrochemical sector, from initial conception through to completion, ensuring all objectives are met within the agreed timescales. This role requires a proactive individual who can oversee all aspects of a project, including planning, resource allocation, and construction scheduling. The Project Manager will play a crucial role in coordinating teams, managing risks, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects within the agreed timescales and budget.
2. Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, including risk management, quality assurance, and change control.
3. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including construction schedules, resource plans, and risk logs.
4. Liaise with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring effective communication and reporting on project progress.
5. Coordinate and lead project teams, fostering a collaborative working environment and ensuring all team members are clear on their roles and responsibilities.
6. Manage the procurement of services and materials, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
7. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
8. Evaluate the success of the project against its benchmarking and share lessons or best practices for future projects.
Qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years' experience in Project Management, ideally within the Energy or Petrochemical industry.
3. Proven experience in managing large, complex projects from inception to completion.
4. Expert knowledge of project management principles, including experience with construction scheduling.
5. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a range of stakeholders.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage risks and resolve issues.
8. Proficient in project management software.
9. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
