Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This is a permanent position where the right candidate will have the opportunity to manage and oversee commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, including design, estimation, and execution, with a particular focus on projects involving ceramic tile and flooring.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all stages of the construction project, from design to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
2. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
3. Review and understand project blueprints and technical drawings, and provide feedback on design aspects.
4. Manage the estimation process, ensuring accurate cost forecasting and budgeting.
5. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
6. Resolve any problems that may arise during the construction process.
7. Ensure compliance with local and federal construction regulations and safety laws.
8. Maintain regular communication with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
9. Review and approve project invoices, change orders, and other financial documents.
10. Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in commercial project management.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, and understanding of construction laws and regulations.
4. Familiarity with design software and ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
5. Specific experience with ceramic tile and flooring projects.
6. Proven track record as an estimator with accurate forecasting and budgeting skills.
7. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
8. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
9. Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
10. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
