As a Project Manager with this company, you play a critical role within the Project Team by maintaining a thorough knowledge of construction projects and overseeing the efficient execution of contract requirements. You will report directly to our Senior Project Manager and work closely with the Site Superintendent and Project Administrator to complete projects on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining the scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards and specifications.
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
• Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
• Control project costs to avoid any potential overruns.
• Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Proven work experience of 2+ years as a Project Manager in the Commercial Construction industry.
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in construction management.
• Proficiency in project management software tools.
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD.
• Competency in conflict and crisis management.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, structural drawings and plan sets.
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong leadership and team building abilities.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Experience with project $10 Million and larger
