Job Details:

We are in search of a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent decision-making skills, strong negotiation abilities, and an in-depth understanding of scheduling and managing subcontractors. Proficiency in Procore and Bluebeam is a must. The successful candidate will have at least 2+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Project Manager, your core responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation, ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
2. Developing comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
3. Managing subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met and work is completed on time.
4. Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
5. Utilizing industry-specific software such as Procore and Bluebeam for project management tasks.
6. Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
7. Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
8. Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
9. Conducting risk assessments for projects and making key decisions to manage these risks.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Project Manager position, you must possess the following:

1. A minimum of 2+ years of proven working experience in project management and construction management.
2. Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods.
3. Demonstrated experience in negotiation and decision-making.
4. Proficiency in project management software tools, particularly Procore and Bluebeam.
5. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
6. Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
7. Strong working knowledge of construction industry regulations, health and safety standards.
8. Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and motivate team members.
9. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field is preferred.
