Project manager - Waste Water

We are seeking an exceptional Permanent Project Manager with a strong background in piping construction to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing large-scale piping projects in the water/waste water/oil/gas/power sectors. Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute project plans, including defining scope, schedule, cost, quality, and communication.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of the construction project from planning to implementation.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
• Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
• Review the work progress on daily basis and prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.
• Lead and manage a team of professionals, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize the progress of the project.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a project manager in the construction industry.
• Proven experience with large piping projects in the water/waste water/oil/gas/power sectors.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSH guidelines.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
