Job Details:

We are currently seeking an experienced Permanent Project Manager - Mechanical for our rapidly expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in mechanical systems, particularly in plumbing, gas lines, and utilities. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing a range of projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard. This role requires a dynamic individual who can oversee various tasks simultaneously and can work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all mechanical aspects including plumbing, gas lines, and utilities.
2. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within cost parameters.
3. Coordinate with other project managers, engineers, and technicians to ensure smooth execution of projects.
4. Use your expertise in mechanical systems to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
5. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
6. Coordinate with suppliers and contractors, ensuring the quality of materials and workmanship.
7. Regularly report project progress to senior management and stakeholders.
8. Manage any changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
9. Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
10. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

Qualifications:

1. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
2. At least 3 years of experience in a project management role within the construction industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, including plumbing, gas lines, and utilities.
4. Proficient in using project management software.
5. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Familiarity with Phyn technology would be a plus.
