Job Details:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Project Manager to oversee K-12 and University Construction projects. This role requires a dynamic individual who is capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and has a proven track record in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of construction procedures, project management principles, and budgeting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of a team that shapes the future of educational infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Develop and implement project plans and timelines, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
3. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of project tasks.
4. Regularly review project progress, updating stakeholders and adjusting plans as necessary.
5. Create and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for money.
6. Ensure all projects comply with safety and building regulations.
7. Implement and manage quality control procedures to ensure high standards are maintained across all projects.
8. Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making processes, mitigating risks and resolving issues promptly.
9. Foster positive relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders.
10. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction is in line with project plans and quality standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management in the construction industry, specifically with K-12 and University Construction projects.
3. Proficient in project management software and tools.
4. Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, materials, and legal regulations.
5. Excellent budgeting skills with a track record of delivering projects within budget constraints.
6. Strong scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Proven experience in quality control management and adherence to safety regulations.
8. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
9. Excellent problem-solving abilities and risk management skills.
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders.
11. PMP certification is a plus.
