Construction Project Manager

We're an Indiana based General Contractor with 50+ Years of building experience throughout Indiana, Ohio, & Michigan.

Our projects include ground-up Commercial, Education, Healthcare, & Industrial projects throughout the Midwest.

Our team is actively expanding and we are looking to make a long-term hire for a Project Manager to be based out of our South Bend, IN office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, including planning, coordinating, and supervising all construction activities. This role requires a high degree of technical knowledge in structural, commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction project management, MEP, and building codes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and implement project plans and schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate and supervise construction activities, ensuring all work is carried out according to project plans and specifications.
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure all project

requirements are met.

• Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Proactively identify, address, and resolve any issues or problems that may arise during the construction process.
• Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure all project objectives are achieved.
• Continually review and improve project management processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proven experience in structural, commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction project management, MEP, and building codes.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
• A strong commitment to safety and compliance with all health and safety regulations.
