Project Manager-Civil Construction

We are a heavy civil sitework contractor looking for an experienced Project Manager.

Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager for our Construction division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the full project life cycle from initiation through completion.
2. Develop comprehensive project plans, manage and monitor project progress.
3. Coordinate with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
4. Meet with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
5. Submit project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
6. Prepare status reports by gathering, analyzing and summarizing relevant information.
7. Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution.
8. Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
9. Coordinate the development of user manuals, training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients.
10. Identify and develop new opportunities with clients.
11. Obtain customer acceptance of project deliverables, and then conducting a post-project evaluation to determine how well results were achieved.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field a plus.
2. Proven experience in project management and construction.
3. Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
4. Proficient with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project. Experience with Excel and MS Office.
5. Knowledge of grading and utilities on commercial/residential projects.
