Project Engineer

Our client is a privately owned global manufacturer of consumer ingredients used in the pharmaceutical, food, and biotech industries.

Our client is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Project Engineer. This position will primarily work with engineering and capital projects and process improvement projects.

In addition to typical engineering functions, the job requires the ability to work well with all levels of internal/external personnel, colleagues and contractors. This position will report to the Manager/Lead, Engineering.

Some of the Qualifications:

• The preferred candidate will have two (2) – five (5) plus years work experience, with some of that time in a food or pharmaceutical environment
• B.S. degree in engineering (preferably chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering). AutoCad experience is a plus.
• A practical technical comprehension, with the capability for "hands-on" work is highly important. In addition, excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are required. Some travel will be required.
• The ideal candidate must be dynamic, aggressive, and a self-starter.
