Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Project Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in Powder Processing, Manufacturing Processes, Quality Control, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Project Management. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the successful completion of projects, from initial conception to final production. This position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.

The Sr. Project Engineer reports to the Director of Engineering. The position is responsible for managing, coordinating, and executing the scope of work for equipment and/or system projects from order entry through commissioning including all technical and financial aspects of the project. This Sr. level position will also train, oversee and direct the work of Jr. Project Engineers and may oversee, train, or direct the work of Project Engineer.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage a variety of engineering projects from concept to completion.
2. Utilize expertise in powder processing and manufacturing processes to optimize production efficiency and quality.
3. Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure products meet the highest standards.
4. Use AutoCAD to design and develop complex manufacturing systems and processes.
5. Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects.
6. Interact with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
7. Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
8. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
9. Use Microsoft Office tools to track project progress and report status to stakeholders.
10. Continuously assess and improve manufacturing processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in powder processing and manufacturing processes.
4. Strong knowledge of Quality Control standards and procedures.
5. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
6. Experience in project management and proven ability to lead and manage a team.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
