Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinating and managing all project engineering aspects from conception to completion.
2. Developing and implementing project plans, including Statements of Objectives and Statements of Work for subcontractors.
3. Interacting with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met.
4. Monitoring project progress and making necessary adjustments to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
5. Ensuring all project activities comply with company and industry regulations and standards.
6. Identifying, managing, and mitigating project risks.
7. Providing regular project updates to stakeholders, including management and clients.
8. Collaborating with the project team to ensure the effective execution of the project plan.
9. Conducting project post-mortems and creating a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
10. Continuously improving the project management process, tools, and techniques.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Project Engineer role, you should possess the following:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Proven experience in coordinating the development of subcontractor Statements of Objectives and Statements of Work.
4. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
5. Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
8. Proficiency in project management software tools.
9. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
10. Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
