Our rapidly growing Industrial Automation company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Project Engineer (Mechanical) to join our dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on a variety of projects, primarily focused on the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a focus on Solidworks, and will have experience in project engineering within the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Project Engineer (Mechanical), you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

1. Leading the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and equipment, utilizing your expertise in Solidworks.
2. Managing all phases of project engineering, including planning, design, development, testing, and implementation.
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects, meeting all specifications and requirements.
4. Identifying, analyzing, and resolving system design weaknesses.
5. Providing technical leadership and support to the engineering team, including mentoring junior engineers.
6. Ensuring all projects adhere to established standards and specifications.
7. Conducting risk assessments and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
8. Providing regular progress updates to stakeholders and management, including project status reports and presentations.
9. Continually striving to improve processes, systems, and overall product quality.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in project engineering within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in Solidworks or a similar mechanical design software.
4. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment, including design, development, and implementation processes.
5. Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve system design weaknesses.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
8. Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring junior engineers.
