Job Details:

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to join our Commercial Construction team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile commercial construction projects, including ground-up builds, tenant improvements, design-build projects, public works, retail, and entertainment facilities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management and scheduling, and will be responsible for overseeing the execution of construction projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

1. Managing and overseeing all aspects of project engineering for commercial construction projects, including ground-up builds, tenant improvements, design-build projects, public works, retail, and entertainment facilities.
2. Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
3. Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, and ensuring that all project milestones are met.
4. Identifying and mitigating project risks, and resolving any issues that may arise during the construction process.
5. Ensuring that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations, and that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.
6. Preparing and presenting regular project status reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
7. Continuously improving project management processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

1. A minimum of 1 year experience in a project engineering role within the commercial construction industry.
2. Proven experience managing ground-up builds, tenant improvements, or commercial projects at a general contractor.
3. Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify and mitigate project risks and resolve construction issues.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
