Our company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Project Engineer to join our Civil Construction team. This position is ideal for someone who has a passion for construction, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to contribute to large-scale, impactful projects. As a Project Engineer, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical aspects of projects. The role demands a high degree of technical knowledge in bridge, marine, and highway construction. Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the planning, management, and execution of civil construction projects, with a focus on bridge, marine, and highway construction.
2. Coordinate with the project team to ensure all aspects of the project are in line with the project goals, specifications, and compliance regulations.
3. Carry out detailed engineering designs and calculations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
4. Monitor project progress, and ensure that the project is running on time and within budget.
5. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members, to ensure project objectives are met.
6. Conduct site inspections and project reviews to monitor and report on progress.
7. Manage and mitigate project risks, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
8. Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with company standards and regulations.
9. Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in civil engineering, specifically in bridge, marine, and highway construction.
3. Proficiency in relevant engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
4. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
6. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
8. A valid engineering license is preferred.
9. Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and multitask.
10. Willingness to travel to construction sites as required.
