We are seeking a passionate and experienced Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager (PE/APM) to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging design-build projects across various sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, project bidding, managing crews, punch lists, healthcare construction, and OSHA management. They will have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a hands-on approach to work.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of construction activities.
2. Manage and respond to RFIs, submittals, and change orders in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Oversee project bidding processes, including preparing bid documents, evaluating bids, and making recommendations for awarding contracts.
4. Supervise construction crews to ensure tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
5. Maintain and manage punch lists to track project progress and ensure all work is completed to specification.
6. Lead and manage healthcare construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
7. Implement and manage OSHA safety programs, conducting regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
8. Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and successful project completion.
9. Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
10. Identify and resolve any potential issues or obstacles that may impact project timelines or budgets.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
3. Proven experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project bidding.
4. Experience in managing crews and overseeing construction projects.
5. Familiarity with healthcare construction and its unique challenges and requirements.
6. Knowledge of construction documents.
