Project Architect - Commercial

Job Details:

We are seeking a Project Architect to join our team in Metro-Detroit. This position is dedicated to the design and development of commercial projects. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, leading the architectural design and project management for a variety of commercial projects. Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of various commercial projects, including office buildings, retail spaces, and mixed-use developments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, interior designers, and contractors to ensure project success.
• Utilize CAD and Revit software to create detailed architectural designs and plans.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to architectural plans and to identify potential issues or improvements.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project objectives and expectations are met.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Coordinate the application of building and safety regulations and codes.
• Continually enhance technical and professional skills through ongoing training and educational opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Project Architect, specifically with commercial, office, or residential projects.
• Proficiency in CAD and/or Revit software.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with building and safety regulations and codes.
• A valid license to practice architecture is preferred.
• A portfolio of previous work demonstrating your architectural design skills and creativity.
