Job Details:

Our firm is on the hunt for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and highly-skilled Professional Land Surveyor to join our team. This is a permanent full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of land development and engineering projects. The successful candidate will have a key role in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive land surveys and prepare detailed reports, maps, and plots, using advanced surveying equipment and software.
2. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction professionals on land development projects.
3. Review and interpret survey data, including records, maps, and previous survey results.
4. Provide guidance and direction to survey team members, ensuring accuracy of work and adherence to set standards.
5. Oversee the preparation of all necessary documentation related to land surveying.
6. Perform regular checks and updates of surveying equipment to ensure functionality and accuracy.
7. Liaise with government agencies and other relevant bodies regarding land registration and related legal matters.
8. Assist in the preparation of project proposals, tenders, and bids.
9. Perform other duties as assigned, in line with your skills and experience.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Professional Land Surveyor, preferably within the Engineering or Land Development sector.
3. Licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or equivalent.
4. Proficiency in using advanced surveying equipment and software.
5. Strong understanding of land surveying processes, legal boundaries, and environmental regulations.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions based on data.
7. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information.
8. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
9. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
10. Possess a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to different project sites as required.
