Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to join our dynamic manufactuing team. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the production process, ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities:

1. Supervise the production team: Lead a team of production workers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
2. Ensure adherence to production schedules: Monitor and manage production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines, adjusting as necessary to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
3. Maintain quality standards: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet or exceed customer expectations, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.
4. Optimize production processes: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, implementing innovative strategies to streamline operations, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
5. Manage inventory: Oversee inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of raw materials and components to support production needs, while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with other departments such as engineering, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth coordination and execution of production plans.
7. Ensure compliance with safety regulations: Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety training for employees.
8. Monitor and report on key performance indicators: Track and analyze production metrics, such as yield, efficiency, and quality, providing regular reports to management and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
9. Foster a positive work culture: Promote teamwork, open communication, and a positive work environment, encouraging employee engagement and professional development.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of supervisory/management experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the marketing industry.
2. Strong knowledge and experience with CNC machines, fabrication, and assembly processes.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing and leading a team, with the ability to motivate and inspire employees to achieve production goals.
4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and implement effective solutions.
5. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
6. Solid understanding of quality control procedures and experience in implementing and enforcing them.
7. Proficient in using production management software and tools to track and analyze production data.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
9. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
10. Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
