Job Details:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our production operations and ensuring that they are running efficiently and effectively. You will be a key player in our company, as your expertise and understanding of manufacturing processes will be used to drive our production operations to success. This role requires a candidate who is not only experienced in production management but also has a strong understanding of mining/ aggregates, process improvement, SAP, performance management, and operations management.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and coordinate the production process based on strategic company goals, budget limitations, and market demand.
• Develop and implement performance measures that support the company's strategic direction.
• Monitor production standards and implement quality control programs.
• Collaborate with other managers to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, or objectives.
• Review processing schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
• Develop or implement production tracking or quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, or other operational reports, to detect production problems.
• Use SAP systems for data management and decision making.
• Develop budgets or approve expenditures for supplies, materials, or human resources, ensuring that materials, labor, or equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets.
• Initiate and coordinate inventory and cost control programs.
• Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a production management role.
• Proven experience in process improvement, SAP, performance management, and operations management.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and direct the functions of a production team.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Experience with budgeting, production scheduling, and inventory control.
• Proven ability to implement performance measures that align with company's strategic direction.
• Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
