Are you ready to take your manufacturing career to the next level? We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Permanent Production Supervisor to join our team. This position will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing and production process, ensuring efficiency and quality in every phase. The successful candidate will be a key player in managing and improving our production operations, contributing to our company’s growth and success. Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of the production and operating workers, such as inspectors, precision workers, machine setters and operators, assemblers, fabricators, and plant and system operators.

2. Establish and enforce operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of products, and keeping of warehouse inventory.

3. Review production orders, schedules, delivery dates, and inventory levels to determine product availability and plan department operations.

4. Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production and processing problems.

5. Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personnel grievances.

6. Prepare and maintain production reports and records.

7. Set and monitor product standards, examining samples of raw products or directing testing during processing, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality.

8. Develop budgets and approve expenditures for supplies, materials, and human resources, ensuring that materials, labor, and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets.

9. Initiate and coordinate inventory and cost control programs.

10. Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. Associates degree in Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.

2. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

3. Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role.

4. In-depth knowledge of the production assembly and manufacturing process.

5. Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.

6. Excellent communication and leadership skills.

7. Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.

8. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software.

9. Ability to handle and resolve conflicts.

10. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
