Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in managing our day-to-day production activities to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing and managing all manufacturing operations, ensuring that production targets are met on time and within budget.
2. Implementing lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
3. Supervising the injection molding process, ensuring that quality standards are met, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
4. Training, mentoring, and leading a team of production workers, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
5. Regularly reviewing and analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
6. Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
7. Collaborating with other departments such as Quality Control, Maintenance, and Engineering to optimize production processes.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a production management role within the manufacturing industry, preferably with a focus on plastic and injection molding.
2. Proven experience implementing lean manufacturing principles and practices.
3. Strong leadership skills, with a track record of leading and motivating a team.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions quickly.
5. A strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the manufacturing industry.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders.
7. Proficient in using production management software and tools.
8. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
