Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in the food industry. This is a permanent, full-time role where you will be responsible for overseeing our production operations, ensuring that they run smoothly and efficiently. You will be a crucial part of our team, working directly with the production team to ensure that our products are manufactured to the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities:

• Direct oversight of the production process, ensuring that production schedules are maintained and that products are manufactured in accordance with company standards and customer specifications.
• Monitor product standards and implement quality control programs to maintain the highest level of product integrity.
• Coordinate and implement production plans and schedules, taking into account resource availability, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Supervise and motivate a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, maintenance, and quality assurance to optimize production processes.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
• Conduct regular meetings with the production team to discuss progress, resolve issues, and share information.
• Manage and resolve any production-related issues or conflicts, ensuring that production goals are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food manufacturing sector.
• Proven experience in production management and quality control.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of production machinery, processes, and quality control techniques.
• Familiarity with industry-standard health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing management software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
