Job Description:

As part of your responsibilities, you will be expected to:

• Oversee and coordinate the activities of hourly production staff.
• Report daily defects to management and production staff.
• Interpret and enforce company policies and safety regulations.
• Adjust manpower to meet production schedules.
• Analyze and resolve work issues or assist employees in doing so.
• Implement disciplinary measures as necessary.
• Maintain time and production records.
• Inspect products to ensure compliance with specifications and handle machinery maintenance.
• Review production schedules and estimate worker hours required for job completion.
• Propose measures to enhance efficiency in production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Propose or implement plans to motivate employees to achieve work objectives.
• Conduct meetings to address grievances or escalate unresolved issues.
• Ensure compliance with the collective bargaining agreement.
• Be willing to work rotating shifts and overtime when necessary.

Your Qualifications:

• Associate degree (AA/AS) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents such as safety regulations and operating instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Effective verbal communication skills for addressing groups of customers or organizational employees.
