Title: Production Supervisor
Location: St. Louis, MO
Salary: 34-37/hr + OT
Requirements: Injection Molding / Team management / Plastics Industry

Job Details:

• Oversee daily operations of our manufacturing plant, ensuring that production schedules are met and quality standards are upheld.
• Implement and enforce safety standards in compliance with OSHA regulatory requirements.
• Lead and manage a team of production staff, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Work closely with the Community Standards Advisor to ensure our operations align with the community's expectations and regulations.
• Manage and maintain machinery, ensuring regular maintenance and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Oversee inventory management, ensuring materials are adequately stocked and organized.
• Monitor and measure staff performance, providing feedback and implementing performance management strategies when necessary.
• Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) across all operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to align production with business objectives.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a production supervisory role within the Manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience with Plastics Manufacturing and Injection Molding Machinery.
• Strong understanding and knowledge of OSHA regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in 5S lean/six sigma methodologies and GMP.
• Prior experience in plant production management and machinery maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability in staff training and performance management.
• Experience as a Community Standards Advisor is a plus.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficient in inventory management.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma is a must.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
