We are seeking an experienced Production Operator to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a thorough understanding of SOPs, food safety, PPE, and TBC. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. Responsibilities
1. Operating and maintaining machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production.
2. Adhering strictly to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality and safety standards.
3. Implementing food safety protocols and ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of hygiene and quality.
4. Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times and adhering to all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
5. Troubleshooting basic problems (TBC) and escalating complex issues to the appropriate team.
6. Monitoring the production process and making necessary adjustments to keep the operation running smoothly.
7. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and suggesting ways to improve the production process.
8. Maintaining accurate records of production data, including output, waste, and machine downtime.

Qualifications
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Production Operator in the engineering industry.
2. Proven experience with standard operating procedures (SOPs), food safety protocols, personal protective equipment (PPE), and troubleshooting basic problems (TBC).
3. A strong understanding of the production process and machinery operation.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
5. A strong commitment to safety and quality, with a track record of adhering to strict safety and hygiene protocols.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
7. The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, and to adapt quickly to changes in the production process.
8. Basic computer skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records of production data.
9. A high school diploma or equivalent. A certificate or diploma in a related field would be an asset.
