Production Manager

Based out of Franklin Park, IL, we are seeking a Production Manager to join our growing team in the Food Manufacturing industry..

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing production lines, with a focus on food production. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring line efficiency, and maintaining high levels of quality in our food manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of production staff, ensuring that all production targets are met, and that all products are produced in accordance with HACCP standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the production process, ensuring that all production targets are met on time and within budget.
• Oversee the production lines, ensuring that they are running efficiently and that any issues are resolved quickly.
• Ensure that all products are produced in accordance with HACCP standards, and that all production staff are trained in food safety and hygiene.
• Manage a team of production staff, ensuring that they are motivated, trained, and working to their full potential.
• Monitor and report on production performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce

waste.

• Work closely with the Quality Control team to ensure that all products meet the required quality standards.
• Ensure that all production equipment is maintained and serviced as required, and that any issues are reported and resolved in a timely manner.
• Implement and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging staff to identify and implement process improvements.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of managing production lines in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of production staff.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions quickly and effectively.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to monitor and report on production performance.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Flexibility to work shifts as required.
