Production Manager

We are seeking a driven, experienced, and dynamic Permanent Production Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will oversee and manage all aspects of production, ensuring that products are manufactured on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role will also involve the implementation of lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives, with a strong focus on safety. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all aspects of production, ensuring that products are manufactured on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
2. Implement and maintain lean manufacturing practices, driving efficiency and cost savings.
3. Lead continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
4. Ensure the highest standards of safety are maintained at all times, implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures.
5. Develop and manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
6. Oversee budgeting and financial planning for the production department, managing costs and identifying opportunities for financial improvement.
7. Manage and develop a high-performing production team, providing training and development opportunities as needed.
8. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the production process.
9. Monitor and report on production performance, providing regular updates to senior management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in plant production management, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
4. Strong knowledge of budgeting and financial planning in a production environment.
5. Excellent understanding of safety practices and regulations in a production setting.
6. Outstanding leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
9. Highly organized, with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
