We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to join our dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing team. As a Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our manufacturing operations, ensuring that our food products are produced efficiently, safely, and meet the highest quality standards. This is a permanent role that offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our business, driving operational excellence, and leading a team of production professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the production process, ensuring that production is cost-effective and timely, and that products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
• Develop and implement production schedules, monitor production progress, and make necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Ensure that all production activities comply with health and safety regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with other managers and staff across the organization to implement the company’s policies and goals.
• Conduct performance and productivity assessments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
• Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that finished products meet the required specifications and quality standards.
• Manage and reduce production waste, implementing sustainable and environmentally-friendly manufacturing practices.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and other production resources.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role within the food manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, production processes, and quality control principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards within the food manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in using production management software and tools.
• A proactive and results-driven approach, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
