Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Engineering Manager to join our growing team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, participate in the design and prototyping process, and manage the production of top-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace, a deep understanding of AS9100, and the ability to face customers with confidence and professionalism. Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
2. Oversee all aspects of product management, from conception to launch, including design, prototyping, and testing.
3. Ensure compliance with AS9100 and other relevant industry standards.
4. Represent the company in customer-facing interactions, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
5. Drive continuous improvement in product quality and efficiency through innovative engineering solutions.
6. Coordinate with the program management team to align product engineering activities with broader company objectives.
7. Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is required. Advanced degree is a plus.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a product engineering management role in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
4. Knowledge of AS9100 and experience in the aerospace industry is strongly preferred.
5. Demonstrated ability in customer-facing roles, with a commitment to excellent customer service.
6. Strong background in product management, including design, prototyping, and testing.
7. Excellent program management skills, with the ability to coordinate complex projects and meet deadlines.
8. Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate teams.
9. Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
