We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, planning production, ERP systems, Excel, negotiations, analytics, logistics, and manufacturing. This role requires a minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position. As a Procurement Specialist, you will take charge of our purchasing operations, ensuring that all procurement activities align with our business goals and strategies. You will be a key player in our team, contributing to our growth and success by leveraging your skills and expertise in the procurement domain (APIC CPIM/CPSM certified a plus).

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, lead, and execute purchasing and inventory strategies as well as manage all activities related to materials procurement.
2. Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
3. Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
4. Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
5. Assess, manage and mitigate risks in procurement process.
6. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
7. Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures.
8. Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand for services and products.
9. Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
10. Coordinate with production planning to ensure timely delivery of products.
11. Maintain procurement and inventory data integrity in the ERP system, abide by FDA and other regulatory body’s requirements, and GMP.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or a related field.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role in the Manufacturing industry.
3. Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.
5. Experience with ERP systems and logistics management.
6. APIC CPIM/CPSM certification is preferred.
7. Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
8. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
9. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
11. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
12. Ability to thrive in a high-stress and fast-paced environment.
