Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated Permanent Process Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing manufacturing processes that ensure maximum efficiency and productivity. As a Process Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues while continuously improving processes to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes that meet quality, cost, and efficiency targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.
  • Conduct process audits to identify areas for improvement and develop plans for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process flow diagrams.
  • Identify and implement process automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure that materials and equipment meet quality and performance standards.
  • Train production staff on new processes and equipment to ensure successful implementation.
  • Participate in new product development projects to ensure that manufacturing processes are designed to meet product requirements.
  • Participate in safety initiatives, including risk assessments and hazard identification.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 1-2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the color and polymer industry. (New grads welcome to apply)
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Experience with process design, development, and implementation.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing software applications.
