We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Process Engineer specializing in Plastics to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to play an instrumental role in our company's growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastics, tooling, and product design, with a passion for continuous improvement and process optimization.

Responsibilities:

As a Process Engineer - Plastics, you will be responsible for the following:

1. Lead the design and development of new and existing molds in collaboration with the tooling and product design teams.
2. Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency, quality, and performance.
3. Develop and manage process flow diagrams, PFMEA, and control plans to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any process-related issues.
5. Evaluate existing processes and workflows to identify areas that could benefit from changes and improvements.
6. Conduct root cause analysis for process failures and develop corrective actions.
7. Maintain documentation of all processes and improvements implemented.
8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, advancements, and best practices in plastics manufacturing.
9. Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Process Engineer or in a similar role in the Plastics Manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience with tooling and product design on existing or new molds.
3. Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement strategies and process optimization.
4. Proficiency in developing and managing process flow diagrams, PFMEA, and control plans.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
7. A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
8. Familiarity with industry standards and quality control regulations.
9. Proficiency in using computer software and applications, including MS Office and CAD software.
