Principal Software Engineer

Due to growth, we're looking for a skilled Principal Software Engineer. We need this hire to help us deliver best-in-class software so the doctors and care teams can make the right treatment decisions quickly and save the patient.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship for other engineers on the team
• Write high quality and maintainable code
• Lead engineering projects and initiatives, including scoping, planning, and execution
• Design and build impactful technical solutions and own them through the entire development lifecycle
• Work on engineering projects and initiatives, including scoping, planning, and execution
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, design, and other engineering teams
• Research and evaluate new technologies and techniques for potential adoption
• Establish architecture plans, conventions, standards, and best practices
• Identify areas for improving code quality, performance, scalability, and stability
• Ensure the engineering team understands the business direction and how each individual engineer’s work contributes towards the big picture of the product line and company offerings

You should know some of the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• 10+ years of experience in software development
• Demonstrated engineering leadership
• Python, Java, or other backend
• Angular, React, or other frontend framework
• NodeJS
• AWS
• High level of knowledge of HTTP as well as API and database schema design
• High level of distributed system design skill
• Experience with infrastructure issues, cross-functional cooperation, technical leadership, implementation plan

Bonus Skills:

• iOS or Android development experience; Swift, Kotlin and good understanding of Native mobile
• Med-tech or Healthcare experience
• TypeScript
