Principal Product Validation Engineer

We are a rapidly growing well-funded global company based in Santa Clara that is looking for a skilled Principal Product Validation Engineer to lead and contribute to productization of our Analog/Mixed Signal and MEMs sensor based products. we are looking for someone who is a passionate self-starter who can work cross-functionally to ensure system-level performance of our products and help solve the complex problems.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute and lead a team of engineers responsible for validation, characterization, and release-to-production of MEMS-based products.
• Interface with cross-functional teams, vendors, and manage projects across different sites.
• Work with MEMS and circuit design teams to evaluate new silicon and recommend design improvements for enhanced performance.
• Plan and execute device verification and characterization.
• Design, develop, and validate PCB test platforms and firmware to enable automated data acquisition & analysis.
• Develop and transfer algorithms to final test and production environments.
• Perform engineering failure analysis to root cause product issues.
• Innovate and prototype system architectures and new technologies for next-generation products.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in the productization of semiconductor sensor-based devices
• MS or PhD in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Exceptional candidates with other backgrounds will be considered.
• Experience leading engineering project teams and creating and executing verification and characterization plans.
• Strong, fundamental knowledge of mixed signal circuits.
• Hands-on experience with electronics lab instrumentation. Prior experience with metrology systems for evaluating timing parameters is preferred but not required.
• Excellent programming skills and prior experience with MATLAB and/or Python.
