Job Details:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work on various challenging projects, applying your expertise in mechanical engineering and HVAC. The successful candidate will have the chance to use their skills at the highest level possible within our Mechanical/HVAC group. Their goal will be to contribute to our continuous growth and success.

Responsibilities:
As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

1. Lead in the design and development of mechanical systems and components, ensuring all designs meet required standards and specifications.
2. Apply your expertise in HVAC, heavy industrial equipment, and power distribution to provide innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
3. Use AFT Fathom, PipeFlo, PV Elite, and Trace 700 software to perform simulations, analyze data, and optimize designs.
4. Provide technical leadership to a team of engineers, mentoring them and ensuring the quality of their work.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all mechanical components and systems integrate seamlessly with other parts of the project.
6. Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
7. Stay updated with the latest advancements in the field of mechanical engineering and incorporate them into our practices.
8. Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and documentation as required.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Principal Mechanical Engineer position should possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or Ph.D. will be considered an advantage.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the engineering industry.
3. Proven experience in HVAC, heavy industrial equipment, and power distribution.
4. Proficiency in using AFT Fathom, PipeFlo, PV Elite, and Trace 700 software.
5. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire a team of engineers.
6. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
8. Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
9. A professional engineering (PE) license will be considered an advantage.
