Principal Engineer/Division Lead

Since our start as an Environmental and Geotechnical firm, we have added several key services including Transportation Engineering, Structural Engineering, Trail Design, Water Resources, Construction Management and Land Survey.

With our wide range of service areas, we are ideally structured to manage a project of any size from preliminary studies to final construction oversight. Our team brings a wealth of experience to each project and can provide direct design services, quality assurance reviews, and owner representation services.

1. Assign staff to successfully complete transportation projects and tasks.
2. Provides input for the development for conceptual design; track design through Final PS&E to ensure design intent is met and risk is managed.
3. Guiding Senior, Project, and Staff Engineers through the transportation planning and design process.
4. Consider construction costs, government regulations, potential environmental hazards, and other factors in planning stages and risk analysis.
5. Making sure facilities meet legal guidelines, and health and safety requirements.
6. Mentoring staff in the planning and design process as well as project scheduling, budget monitoring, and general management.
7. Actively participating in business development, leading proposal efforts, and arranging strategic teaming strategies with partner firms.
8. Client management and day to day operations for project management will be handled by the Project Managers/Senior Project Engineers who will report to the Transportation Design Services Manager.
